I saw that there is currently no compression when using encryption on sockets/streams. Do you plan to implement compression soon in the Sec Lib ?

No, there are no plans to add compression to the library. At this moment, we're only releasing bug fixes of the library and we're not planning to add new features to it in the future. The reason behind this is because Microsoft will add SSL support in the next version of .NET, so it's pointless for us to add new features now if the library will become obsolete in a few months.

Do know when MS is planning this release?

No, it is not known when Microsoft will release this new version of the .NET runtime. There are rumours that they'll release a public beta version during the summer.
